At the Family Birth Center, we strive to make you feel right at home. From the warm and comfortable private LDRP rooms to the close personal attention you receive, we provide a nurturing environment for the birth of your baby. As LDRP indicates, you will Labor, Deliver, Recover, and receive Post-partum care all in the same room. The rooms are pleasant and attractively decorated with the monitoring and delivery equipment stored inside wooden cabinets until it is needed.
Because bringing a baby into the world is a family event, your coach is encouraged to attend the birthing process, and immediate family members are welcome also. Visitors are limited to two individuals during labor and for delivery. These numbers can be altered at your doctor’s and nurse’s discretion during normal labor/delivery At the Family Birth Center, family care is about more than just a warm environment. It is also about our top-notch equipment and highly-trained professionals. Specialized nurses attend to your needs 24 hours a day. We offer:

Once your little one is welcomed into the world and is doing well, you may care for him or her in your room with nursing support or we will provide loving care in our nursery.
Regional Hospital of Jackson offers a full range of classes designed to guide expectant parents through the latter stages of pregnancy, birth, and the transition period when the baby goes home.
