Regional Hospital, in partnership with their surgeons, provides effective, minimally invasive procedures for the patient’s comfort and safety. Our surgeons use specialized techniques with miniature cameras and high definition monitors to perform comprehensive surgical procedures through incisions sometimes requiring only a single stitch. There is less pain and less discomfort, less potential for complications and less time in the hospital resulting in a much faster recovery period, less scaring and quicker resumption of normal life activities.

Pre Operative Services

Pre-admission testing is conducted prior to a surgical procedure and may include laboratory testing, EKG, Xrays, physical assessment and history by both our nursing and anesthesia staff. These studies are conducted to detect and or correct any abnormalities prior to surgery to insure an uncomplicated recovery.

Pre and Post Operative Care

Regional Hospital’s skilled nursing staff will oversee your admission and recovery including both inpatient and outpatient care. If your procedure will require your admission and discharge on the same day, you will be admitted to one of our 24 beautiful day surgery rooms where you will recover and be discharged from the same unit. If your surgery requires an inpatient admission, you will be admitted to a comfortable inpatient room. Whether inpatient or outpatient, your comfort and care is important to us. Our Intensive Care Unit provides nursing care to patients who may require a higher level of care and monitoring. Telemetry services are provided through wireless units to allow nurses to observe patients vital signs 24 hours a day.
